This holiday season, students and families across the school embraced the spirit of giving through a series of Angel Tree initiatives, each focused on supporting children and families right here in our local community.
In the Upper School, advisories worked together to select angels and purchase gifts for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, a long-standing effort that helps fulfill holiday wishes for underserved children throughout Fairfield County. Middle School advisories focused their efforts even closer to home, collecting toys in support of Horizons families. Once the gifts were gathered, members of the Upper School Horizons Club stepped in to wrap them, adding a collaborative, cross-divisional element to the project.
Beyond these advisory-based efforts, the entire school community was invited to participate in an Angel Tree through the City of Bridgeport’s Outreach Program.
Thanks to these efforts, over 250 children received gifts this holiday season, reminding us all of the power of coming together to support one another.
