GFA Robotics had a strong showing this season in competitions across Connecticut, with two Middle School Dragonoids teams and one Upper School team representing the school in qualification tournaments across the state.

After weeks of gaining valuable experience designing, building, and programming their robots, one Middle School team advanced to the Connecticut State Championship tournament at Wilton High School. Competing against top teams from across the state, they finished ranked 35th overall—an impressive achievement and a testament to their hard work and growth.
Throughout the season, all of GFA’s robotics students developed valuable skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and engineering design. From early prototypes to final matches, their dedication and creativity were on full display. “Well done to everyone involved in robotics this year for all the hard work and dedication that went into designing, building, and programming the robots over several months,” said Berni Lally, Robotics Team Coach. “It took a lot of commitment to finish the season, and I am very proud of everyone’s effort and interest.”
