GFA is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of three students who have earned national recognition for their academic excellence and leadership. Two members of the Class of 2026, Andrew and Peter, have been nominated for the prestigious U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school seniors. This nomination places them among a select group of 5,000 students recognized for their academic achievements. Approximately 650 students will be named semifinalists, and in April up to 161 final scholars will be determined.
Additionally, Oliver ’26 has been named a National Merit Finalist, advancing from a pool of 16,000 Semifinalists nationwide. His exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, combined with his academic records and leadership, has earned him a place among the top high school scholars in the country and he now has the opportunity to be considered for National Merit Scholarships awarded later this year.
These recognitions reflect not only the dedication and talent of our students but also the supportive and challenging academic environment that helps them thrive. We look forward to seeing all that they will accomplish in the months ahead!
