About the James M. Coyle Visiting Scholar

The Coyle Visiting Scholar program began in 1996, thanks to an endowed fund established in honor of former Head of School Jim Coyle. It brings prominent individuals of scholarly and contemporary interest, public servants, academicians, people of letters, or other public figures who have made a sustained and lasting contribution to education defined in its broadest sense. Each Coyle Scholar is invited to spend the day on campus—attending classes and working with students—later in the day, they deliver a public lecture for the community-at-large.
