It was announced this week that Meg Nesi of Fairfield and Annabel Roth of Wilton were named valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, for the Greens Farms Academy Class of 2020.
Nesi will be attending Brown University in the fall. During the school's annual Class Day awards ceremony (this year delivered to the students' homes), she received the Angela Van Acker Award for “initiative and commitment to community service”; the Wagner Award for “the highest academic achievement in the Upper School”; the Susan Conlan Award for math; the Roger B. True Award for science; the Martha Laffaye Award for Spanish; and the Upton Award for English.
Roth will be attending Brown University in the fall, and she received the Angela Van Acker Award for “initiative and commitment to community service”; the World Perspective Award for "outstanding initiative, creativity and scholarship in the study of global issues"; the Susan Conlan Award for math, and The Mandarin Award.
In addition, the following students received this year's Commencement Awards — also delivered this year to the students' homes in lieu of the formal graduation ceremonies:
