The Drowsy Chaperone Stuns the Janet Hartwell Performing Arts Center
The Upper School musical, the Drowsy Chaperone, opened on November 17th and performed three more shows after that on Friday and Saturday night with a matinee on Saturday. The show was brought to life after nearly three months of rehearsals. Students in grades nine through twelve worked to learn the score, perfect choreography, and get to know their characters to bring them to life on the stage. The show payed tribute to American Musicals of the Jazz Age as an escape from desperate times and into a world of fantasy.
