GFA's Middle School Robotics team took home a win at the FLL qualifiers this weekend, winning the core values award and qualifying for the state championships in December.
The competition, held at Hill Regional Career High School in New Haven, was made up of eight different robot competitions throughout the day. GFA students took on teams from across Connecticut and made presentations before a panel of judges on both their Innovation Projects and Robot Design.
"[The students] have all made an amazing commitment to the Robotics Team," said club advisors Jodi Kupersmith and Sam Lowenstein. "They have spent time during study halls, recess, and at home working on our projects, as well as the time we spend after school. We thank them for all their hard work and dedication!"
