Harbor Blues To Open For Harvard Din and Tonics

Greens Farms Academy all-female a cappella group, The Harbor Blues, is set to open for the Harvard Din & Tonics at the Country Club of Darien on January 26.

The Din & Tonics tour worldwide, performing jazz songs from the Great American Songbook, as well as pop, folk, calypso, and rock favorites. They have released 15 albums and are known for the hilarious antics they add to their performances. Traditionally an all-male, five-part group, they have recently added two female signers.

The Harbor Blues was first established at GFA 1989, by Upper School Choral teacher Betsy Bergeron. Many "Blues" alumni have gone on to sing in several college a cappella groups, many of which became their group's pitch, director, or president.
