GFA Wrestlers Named Academic All Americans

May 19 2020

GFA Wrestling is proud to announce four Academic All Americans from this past season — CJ Shea, Mikey Bartush, Caleb Seyfried, and Peter Kane. To qualify as an Academic All American you must be a state place winner and hold a GPA of 3.6 or higher.

"As a whole, the GFA wrestling team is committed to excellence on and off the mat," coach Jack Conroy said. "Between the four of them this season, they have captured four Western New England titles, four FAA championships, four New England placings, three New England Championships and an All American placing at the National Prep Wrestling Tournament. Their leadership is going to help the GFA team immensely, and we are very proud of them."
