The GFA Community Service Board, in conjunction with the Connecticut Food Bank, invites our school community to participate in a food drive on Saturday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to noon. The drive will benefit Operation Hope of Fairfield, Gillespie Men and Hoskin's Women's Shelter, Westport, and Open Door Shelter, Norwalk. Please pull up to the drop-off area and have donations in the trunks of your cars for easy access. Volunteers will be available to remove the items from your car and place them into GFA vans for transport to the food pantries.

Cereal — especially individual packets of oatmeal
Beef and chicken gravy
Canned vegetables (green beans, peas, corn, and baked beans)
Canned fruit and fruit juices
Canned chicken and tuna
Canned soups
Pasta sauce
Peanut butter
Jelly
Boxed milk
Mayonnaise
Microwaveable popcorn
Cookies (regular size packages)
Stop & Shop gift cards
Non-food items:
Men, women and children's socks
