The GFA Theatre Department has announced Diana of Dobson's as this year's fall production, which will be recorded and distributed as a virtual performance.
Diana of Dobson's, a 1908 play written by British actor, playwright, and Suffragist essayist Cicely Hamilton, is a romantic comedy with a serious twist. Cast and company members have been hard at work on the characters and dialects, while using green screens and backgrounds for the separate scenes, costuming from the waist-up, and creating virtual reality with the use of props. Director Stephen Stout hopes to release the play close to the Thanksgiving holiday.
