Renowned international squash coach Mike Way visited the GFA courts this past weekend, where he shared his expertise with area athletes of all ages.
Head Coach of the men's and women's squash programs at Harvard University since 2010, Way has has led his teams to some of the most successful seasons in program history, including coaching the second second player in Harvard history, Amanda Sobhy, to become a four-time National Champion.
Way helped lead the National Squash Training Center for Canada, leading more than 100 athletes to championship titles. He has also coached some of the most successful US college squash players over the last 10 years from the U-13 level and older.
According to Athletic Director Tauni Butterfield, the GFA players enjoyed soaking up everything that Way imparted to them.
"It was a great clinic, and Mike Way is an amazing coach and motivator," she said.
