The Seniors vs. Faculty Basketball Game is a time-honored tradition in which GFA seniors get to face off against their teachers, GFA staff members, and school administrators. This year’s event was a lively celebration for everyone in the community.
Each year, the game marks the kick-off to Spring Break. When the clock strikes 2pm students from all three divisions make their way down to the Coyle Gym. Decked out in tutus, costumes, feather boas, facepaint, and an array of GFA gear, the student sections were loud and filled with pride and excitement. The GFA spirit felt throughout the whole day leading up to and during the event was unmatched.
With a promising start, the faculty made the first point of the game, but was quickly followed by the seniors taking the lead for the next third of the game. By the time there were five minutes left, however, the faculty held a 20 to 10 point lead. Concluding the game with a win of 30 to 17 points.
