Family is a big word for me. When I played JV soccer, the coaches were like family, and the older kids were like my brothers. You don't get that type of connection anywhere else.

When I think of GFA, I think of having fun with my friends and teachers.

During Convocation my freshman year, Mr. Whelan described GFA as a laboratory, and that our school is a place where students are able to experiment. The fact that I've been able to experiment and try different things has really helped me figure out where I belong in the community.

If I had to summarize my GFA experience in one word, I'd say it was plentiful. The community was so welcoming because of the people.

At GFA, the arts inspire creativity, collaboration, and confidence. Here, students engage in dynamic experiences that encourage self-expression, storytelling, and artistic growth.

GFA teachers are empathetic; they can feel what you're going through.
