About Andrew Henry
Andrew Henry is entering his seventh year as the girls varsity soccer coach at GFA, helping to keep the Dragons as one of the most competitive teams in the FAA. In the 2022 season, the Dragons won the FAA tournament championship and they returned to the title game in 2023, as well. While GFA lost the league tournament title in penalty kicks, the Dragons rebounded to win the New England Class C championship the following week.
Having been born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Coach Henry represented his country starting at the U-14 age-group level all the way through Jamaica’s Senior National Team.
His on-field talents led to a handful of offers to play college soccer in the United States. He began his collegiate career at the University of Rhode Island before transferring to St. John’s University.
He has been coaching youth and travel soccer since 2009 and is employed by Next Level Soccer Training.
His 2018 edition of the GFA girls soccer team played for the FAA championship, as well; the Dragons first appearance in the final since 2010.

The Dragons opened the season with a 3-2 victory over visiting Ethel Walker, a team that bested GFA by a goal a year ago.
Maddie DiNatali, Lauren DeLaurentis and Ali Tamayo netted the goals for GFA. Suzuran Draper added an assist. Mae Morelli made seven saves.

The Dragons erupted for five goals in the second half to turn a one-goal lead at halftime into a big road win at Holy Child.
Fiona Curis scored twice to lead the GFA attack. Maddie DiNatali, Lauren DeLaurentiis, and Ella Cahill had a goal and an assist each for GFA. Sydney Laforce also scored while Marguerite Foster and Elise McCormick had assists.
Mae Morelli and Izzy Grimm combined to make eight saves.

Ali Tamayo scored twice to lead the Dragons to the home win over Hopkins.
Lauren DeLaurentiis scored one goal and assisted on two others while Maddie DiNatali had a goal and an assist, as well. Fiona Curis and Piper Rothman had single goals.
Isabella Grimm and Clzire Silverman combined for three saves.
