Greens Farms Academy wrestlers Dom Iaquinto ’25 and Kingston Daniells-Silva ’25 already had multiple All-American awards as part of their impressive athletic resumes.

Now, they’re wrapping up their respective senior years with one more national honor—this one coming off the wrestling mats.

Iaquinto and Daniells-Silva were named National High School Strength Coaches Association All-Americans for their fitness work in the weight room as well as their athletic prowess, according to Rich Casella, GFA’s Assistant Athletic Director for Wellness & Performance.

“Not only are they the school’s first recipients of this award, but they were the only two students from New England and two of three from the Tri-State area to be awarded in 2024-2025,” Casella said. “They both ranked in the Top-10 nationally in the Bench Press and Hex Bar Deadlift.”

According to the NHSSCA website, “This award is given annually to a high school athlete who has demonstrated outstanding achievement on and off the field regarding strength and conditioning, athletic performance, academics, and leadership.”

Iaquinto and Daniells-Silva are two-time National Prep wrestling All-Americans, having been honored for their wrestling prowess on the mats.

Iaquinto will be attending the United States Naval Academy while Daniells-Silva has committed to Columbia University.

In addition to their two All-American honors won while at GFA, both also earned National High School Coaches Association All-American status from their freshman years at other schools.
