Greens Farms Academy’s Campbell Cohen ’25 has announced his intentions to row at the University of Pennsylvania for his collegiate career.

Campbell was one of eight GFA athletes who were honored earlier this year in the Coyle Gym as part of the school’s annual commitment ceremony for student athletes who are continuing their journeys at a Division 1 or Division 2 university.

“Penn has an exceptional rowing team and values dedication and commitment unlike any other school I visited,” Campbell explained. “The facilities and coaching staff are unmatched compared to all other lightweight rowing programs. After visiting and learning more about the school this fall, I knew it was the place I wanted to be.”

His coaches from Saugatuck Rowing Club in Westport, where Campbell has rowed for x years, know he  is ready for the next level of his competitive career.

“It has been a privilege and a pleasure coaching Campbell,” head coach David Grossman lauded. “As a captain, Campbell has elevated our teams’ standards. He has led through his work ethic and his straightforward approach. During Campbell’s time at Saugatuck, his boats have set new club records and achieved our first international race experience. Cambell is very committed to the sport, and I am eager to see him help elevate his new team at Penn”

The GFA senior feels his academic career on Beachside Avenue has set him up for success in his next collegiate chapter.

“GFA has done a tremendous job by challenging me academically and enforcing strong habits necessary to thrive,” Campbell explained.
