Last week’s Dragon Nation Sports Blog Athletes of the Week and prove positive it takes a team to find success.

Keely O’Shea of the girls squash team notched a pair of victories out of the lower end of the Dragons line-up during a pair of 5-2 wins last week.

In GFA’s 5-2 win over King, O’Shea earned a three-game sweep in her match, losing just three points all game. In a 5-2 win over Masters, O’Shea was pushed a lot harder, winning in four games with an 11-4, 6-11, 11-7, 11-5 win.

Ramsay, meanwhile, came off the bench for the boys basketball team to ignite a first-half spark in his team’s 65-52 road win.

Ramsay tossed in a career-high 11 points in the first half for the Dragons.

Earlier in the week, in an 84-43 win over Masters, Ramsay had eight points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
