Sailing began at 8:30 a.m., Saturday morning, and the Dragons lost their first three races of the day, placing second, fourth and fifth in each race (The combination of 1st and 3rd, or 1st and 2nd always wins).
Sailing was suspended for an hour due to a storm but the Dragons pulled themselves together and won the next three races.
Winds were gusting at 35 knots, so they then called the race after GFA won its third race of the day.
On Sunday, the team returned to The Foundry full of momentum.
Sadly, there was no wind.
By 1:30 p.m., the second day of racing was cancelled.
With nothing to do and more than six hours before the plane took off to return the Dragons home, the team hit an indoor go-kart track and played some laser tag to complete one of the most memorable sailing seasons in GFA history.
