The field is set for next week’s Fairchester Athletic Association’s postseason tournaments and GFA is hosting first-round games in three of the four sports.

Girls soccer, boys soccer and field hockey will open FAA play at home while volleyball will be on the road to open the playoff portion of the season.

The GFA Girls Varsity Soccer team wrapped up its regular season with a 15-2-2 record, including a 7-2-1 mark in league play. That gives the Dragons a No. 2 seed and they will host seventh-seeded Holy Child (3-6-1 in FAA play) on Monday at 2 p.m. GFA defeated Holy Child 7-1 during the regular season.

The GFA Boys Varsity Soccer team was 9-3-4 overall while posting a 3-3-1 mark in league play. That was good for a No. 4 season and the Dragons will host fifth-seeded St. Luke’s at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday. The two teams tied 2-2 during their regular season meeting.

The GFA Field Hockey team is 11-3 with two regular season games remaining, including one on Saturday against Kingswood Oxford. The Dragons went 5-3 in league play and earned a No. 3 seed for the FAA tourney and will host Greenwich Country Day School at 2 p.m., on Tuesday. The Dragons blanked the Tigers 4-0 on Monday.

The GFA Volleyball team, meanwhile, finished sixth in the league with a 3-5 league mark and will travel to No. 3 Greenwich Academy for a first-round game on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The Dragons are 9-7 overall with one regular season game remaining on Thursday. GFA fell to GA 3-0 in its regular season matchup.
