As for my peers, they create such an uplifting energy throughout the school and I couldn't find more supportive, kind, and energetic people anywhere else. "Don't be afraid to ask for help! The GFA community is very inclusive and I've definitely felt the "each for all" motto. Whether it be trying to find a class or trying to understand stoichiometry for chemistry, I've always had someone here at GFA more than happy to help. I wouldn't have been able to get as far as I am now if it wasn't for the supportive community formed here. The thing I love most about GFA are definitely the teachers. Here you can tell, they all genuinely care about you and the subject they're teaching. They are always more than happy to help and encourage questions! I'm never afraid to ask questions when I'm at GFA because I know my teachers will be more than happy to answer."

"I love how flexible the teachers are and how everyone is always willing to help.  Don't be afraid to reach out to people because everyone is very welcoming. The pack the house sports events during the winter are always electric and show some of the greatest school spirit."

Visiting them during these times is a great way to improve your understand of the material.  Don't be nervous! GFA's community is vey kind to new students. " I love how GFA fosters such a tight-knit community by encouraging students to connect and collaborate on projects that matter to them. From the sports teams to many theater productions, I see students flourish in an environment that emphasizes passion, growth, and connection. The most important thing a new student can know is that you never feel new at GFA. GFA is a place where connections are formed almost instantly, and you can carve your path to learning. Each GFA teacher is supportive and eager to help you as a student grow throughout your journey. Along with this, GFA has many resources available, from the Math and Writing Centers to the Fitness Center. Any questions or help that you may need is available from not only your teachers, but from other students as well."

"My favorite part about GFA is all the various clubs and groups I have been able to be a part of. Whether it be sports teams, Model UN, or playing music with my friends, there have always been amazing opportunities at GFA to get involved in something new. I was welcomed into the GFA community like I'd been there my whole life, which I'm really grateful for."

I have made lifelong connections with not only peers, but also with my teachers, and it is so evident that everyone in the community cares deeply about the people surrounding them. "I love how small our classes and class sizes are and how its easier to make connections with people.  As a new student, something I would most want to know was at school classes are very hands on, from Harkness table conversations in English and History, to putting homework on the board in math and science."

"What do I love most about GFA. Thats a tough one to answer as there are so many things to love. But I think the most important value GFA has offered to me, and what I love most about the school is the sense of community. When I joined GFA, everyone from students to faculty welcomed me with open arms. Everyone at GFA wants to be here, and most of all wants YOU to be here. I think that is what I love most."
