On Monday evening, Upper School students in the Cities elective course, an offering from the History & Global Studies Department, hosted their second annual Urban Futures in Fairfield County event, an engaging community forum and student showcase. 

This year’s Upper School production brought the classic board game whodunit, “Clue,” to life this spring. 

This May, GFA welcomed grandparents and special friends from near and far for a morning of connection, celebration, and learning.

This past weekend, the GFA Quiz Team traveled to Chicago for the Small School National Championship Tournament.

On Friday, April 25, students across all divisions celebrated Earth Day with a full schedule of activities designed to deepen their connection to the environment and the GFA community.
 

Symposium has grown significantly since its inception in 2011, from 17 students to over 200. Now in its 14th year, Symposium continues to be a powerful showcase of the curiosity, excellence, and passion of GFA students. 
 

Recently, members of GFA’s Asian Affinity Group traveled to Tabor Academy in Massachusetts for the Asian American Footsteps Conference—a regional gathering bringing together more than 350 students from over 40 independent schools across New England.

Upper School student Serra ’25 was named a finalist in the Tenth Annual Narrative High School Writing Contest for her poem, "How I Hold Myself When I Dance.” The international competition invites high school students to share their voices through stories, letters, and poems.
