In the third of a monthly series where Faculty and Staff share personal stories with the Middle School community, MS English Fellow Megan Ruppel shared her experience of growth from loss and her time at the Edinburgh Fringe.

On January 12, we (the seventh grade) got a better understanding of architecture from Mr. Roger Ferris, who designed GFA’s Performing Arts Center and squash building. He talked to us about how pre-algebra applies itself outside of the classroom.

In the fifth-grade Health and Wellness seminar, much of the focus this year has been on self-reflection, meditation, and mindfulness. During the remote learning days post-winter break, students listened to a meditation of their choice and wrote a reflection on their experience.
