The Seniors vs. Faculty Basketball Game is a time-honored tradition in which GFA seniors get to face off against their teachers, GFA staff members, and school administrators. The game took place on Friday, March 10, 2023.
Third grade has been quite busy with the arrival of several baby chickens! When the first two chicks hatched over Presidents Day Weekend, the third graders returned to an egg-citing surprise.

Liyana Asaria-Issa ‘23 was named a Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship program. This past September, four additional GFA seniors were honored as Merit Scholar Commended Students, who "demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success," according to a National Merit Scholarship spokesperson.
The PreKindergarteners have been engaged in seed-to-table learning throughout the fall and winter.
Bill Robinson from Robinsons Wildlife brought in several raptors, including a red tailed hawk, turkey vulture, barred owl, barn owl, falcon, and two reptiles.
With the goal to create a more sustainable box for Kellogg’s travel cereal boxes, students were challenged to create a box that had less surface area and greater volume to hold more cereal.
