Students from the Middle School work together to publish an edition of the paper every month filled with hand-drawn comics, campus news in their “dragon spotlight” section, creative writing, interviews, games, and hot off the press current events.

Under the leadership of Lower School PA co-presidents Jessica Ross and Abby Hausberg, GFA partnered with the Bridgeport Rescue Mission to provide 150 local families with Bedtime Bags.

Lower, Middle and Upper schoolers work to create Thanksgiving baskets for 200 families. This was done with the sheer joy of "giving" something our GFA students and families are famous for.

Guided by Upper School English Teacher and Department Chair, Daniel Jump, several members of our school community, along with Board members, embarked on a collaborative and close reading of the GFA Mission Statement. As someone deeply dedicated to our school's mission, the experience of witnessing the Trustees deconstruct this statement was profoundly enlightening and fulfilling.

Middle School Counselor, Jackie Woods, advises on the complications that evolving technology has created for fostering parent-child relationships.
