Today we started out with a cooking class at Komera led by their chef, Hans. In this class, we learned how to make African Tea. We even got the recipe, so we could bring a little piece of Rwanda back to all of you. Later in the day, we drove to Rwinkwavu to take part in a yoga lesson led by the Komera staff and an additional instructor. This yoga class was meant for teen mothers who partake in the Komera program to give them a support system against the difficulties of motherhood. On our way to Kigali, we picked up lunch at the artist cooperative cafe. Once we arrived in Kigali, we went to the local market to shop and barter for your last minute gifts! Everyone was able to barter self-sufficiently and experience the crowded culture of a Rwandan market. We are currently at the gate waiting to board the plane. We cannot wait to see all of you and share all of our wonderful experiences!
