What is it? Why give?
Annual Giving is a recurring, yearly fundraising effort that runs from July 1 through June 30 of each year and supports the current year's operations. The school relies on these funds to make up the difference between the tuition income and the actual cost of a GFA education. All of the money raised by Annual Giving goes directly toward the current year's operating budget to support and enhance the educational experience for every GFA student. Approximately 7% of the school's annual revenue comes from Annual Giving. As GFA reaches our capacity limit, Annual Giving reduces the pressure to increase tuition. Your annual gift places the school in a solid financial position and provides us with the ability to take advantage of new educational opportunities such as the World Perspectives Program.
Simply put, Annual Giving supports the people and programs that make GFA a transformative experience for our students - dedicated faculty who nurture and challenge each student, small class sizes with an emphasis on individual attention, state-of-the-art technology in all classrooms, and financial support to provide the opportunity for a GFA education to all qualified students.
Your support of Annual Giving demonstrates your deep commitment to our school and to our entire community. Your donation today, benefits every student this year.
Please make Greens Farms Academy a top priority in your charitable giving choices. As determined by the GFA administration, the Annual Giving goal for 2016-2017 is $1,900,000. With thanks to our volunteers and through the incredible generosity of our community, we hope to achieve our goal by raising by fiscal year end June 30, 2017. In addition, we hope to achieve 100% parent participation!
All donors will be recognized according to Giving Circles in GFA's 2017 Annual Report.
