An independent co-ed day school for grades Pre K-12

Welcome to Greens Farms Academy and congratulations on your admission! We're so excited that you will be joining our family. In a few weeks, you'll receive log-in credentials for our Parent Portal, but in the meantime we thought you might find the following resources helpful.

To ensure proper math and language placement, all new GFA students entering grades 7-12 are required to take math and language placement tests. All new students entering sixth grade must take a math placement test. Students who are starting a new language will only need to take the math placement test.

Test dates:

Thursday, May 11, 4:00-6:00PM (4:00PM Math, 5:00PM Language)
Saturday, May 13, 9:00-11:00AM (9:00AM Math, 10:00AM Language)

You will receive an email with a link to Pick-A-Time to register for placement testing. The registration deadline is April 30. The school store will be open at the end of testing for students to try on athletic sportswear.

For more information, contact: Admission Office (general questions); Veronica Lima (Language Placement); Kurt Mederer (Math Placement).

Course Registration (MS & US only)

Upper School: You will receive more information about this process in April.  In the meantime, know that following the placement test, you will meet with Andrew Jones, Head of the Upper School, to review the outcomes of the placement test, discuss your four-year academic plan, and select the courses for next year.

Middle School: You will receive a copy of the Middle School Curriculum Guide and Course Registration form on April 5 at the Introduction to Middle School evening. Please call Carolyn Skiba (203) 256-7512 to schedule an appointment to meet with Drew Meyer for course selection. You should plan on bringing your child to this meeting.
