The Writing Center: A Student's Secret Weapon

Now in its fourth year, the GFA Writing Center the Writing Center has become a place for fifth through ninth graders of all writing abilities to get assistance and one-on-one feedback to make their writing as strong as possible. There is no prerequisite for participation, just a desire to become a better writer.

Members of the GFA Quiz Team competed at the Yale Fall Academic Tournament this past Saturday. The team consisting of John Selkowitz '18, Willem Schuddeboom '19, Win Courtemanche '20, Quentin Conopask '20, and Karsten Rynearson '22 tied for fourth place out of 24 teams, also qualifying for one of the National Quiz Bowl competitions held next spring.
