Athletes of the Week
This honor recognizes one male and one female athlete, who have displayed outstanding performance, leadership, and sportsmanship in his or her particular sport.  Athletes are nominated by their team coach and are selected on a weekly basis.  Nominations are open to all JV, Varsity, and 3rds teams.

Athletes of the Week for this week are.......

Kaitlin Ball - JV Girls Soccer

While sophomore Kaitlin Ball may not have scored many goals this season, she did, however, play one of the most demanding positions on the field - the center midfield position. She consistently led the team's offense by assisting on numerous goals and always playing tenacious defense at the other end. Her knowledge of the game, skills and most of all her heart made those around her better players. Although Kaitlin's season has come to a close, the girls' soccer program is excited to see her continued development, as well as the contributions she will make next year.

Harry Garland - Boys Varsity Soccer

In an exciting week for the boys' varsity soccer team, senior captain Harry Garland led the way on the offensive end of the field. In their Homecoming match with FAA rival King, Garland scored the first goal to open the gates for the team and again found the back of the net in a tough fought match against Canterbury. With another big week coming up for the team, as they look to take down King in the FAA semi-final round, the Dragons will look to Garland for leadership and control in the midfield.
