Homecoming Fall Fair Recap

Over 60 alumni returned to campus on Saturday, October 22 for a perfect fall day at Homecoming Fall Fair 2011. Alumni faced off against each other in the annual Alumni Soccer Game and enjoyed the barbeque provided by GFA's kitchen staff. Head of School Janet Hartwell officially dedicated the synthetic turf field in a ceremony choreographed by the newly formed Upper School Spirit Club. Later in the day, alumni cheered on GFA's varsity teams as they went undefeated against King. Two former cross country captains also ran alongside the current team during their meet against King and Chase Collegiate. Twelve members of the class of 2011 made it back to campus, making their class the best represented at this year's event. Many thanks to all who made this year's Homecoming such a great success.
