It is an award for youth in America who set and meet goals in the areas of personal development, volunteer public service, physical fitness, and expedition or exploration. The Congressional Awards Club offers support as well as advice for those students who wish to work towards receiving a Congressional Award. Even though the process of working towards an award is individual, the club would offer ideas and assistance for any student who wishes to earn the award.

Dance Club
The purpose of our club is to dance expressively. We follow the dance style of Isadora Duncan, a famous women's activist and an amazing dancer. The dance is modern and is mostly improvised by the dancers. There are also choreographed dances but the majority is improvised. During our dance lessons, we are also taught many myths and legends that we act out in our dances. Dance club allows us to relax and have a great time in the middle of the week.

ECO Club
GFA’s long-standing and prominent environmental (eco) club has been an important and active presence in the school community for years. The purpose of the club is to maintain an environmentally friendly state of mind within the school, keeping students active and involved in GFA’s commitment to an eco-friendly existence within the surrounding area, as well as the world. The club hosts events and activities in the form of beach and town clean-ups, various presentations and demonstrations, making changes to and creating new and environmentally friendly guidelines around the school, and most recently, hosting a local lunch day, with foods brought in from local farms around the area.

Film Society
The Greens Farms Academy Film Society is dedicated to cultivating passion for landmark films of the past and present. As a club, we hope to expand our community's awareness and appreciation for movies through exposure and discussion. Mark Twain once wrote that the definition of a classic is “something that everybody wants to have read and nobody wants to read.” We hope to discourage this sort of thinking by demonstrating how “classic” movies can be both enriching and entertaining.

FOCUS (Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools)
FOCUS is the Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools.  It is a diverse community of students, alumni, parents, faculty, clergy, and professionals from a variety of Christian denominations drawn together by a common faith and purpose.  Our purpose is to explore with independent school students a life of faith that is real, adventurous, intellectually sound, and eminently practical.

While the club initially focused solely on the small town of Linda Vista in Costa Rica, the club now looks to expand its responsibilities to other projects. During the school year, the club will take on the task of supporting its relationship with Linda Vista, in addition to its upcoming partnership with the town Ollataytambo. Additionally, GLOBE will continue to listen to new ideas and projects which seriously target global education.

Spirit Club
The Spirit Club promotes school spirit and attendance at sports games. We feel that school spirit is important aspect in creating a closer knit community at GFA. Through the Booster Club we aim to promote better athletic spirit, whether the teams are winning or not. As we have seen in past years, when a team goes far and does well in the league, there is an energy in the school that is irreplaceable. Everyone is pumped up and clears their schedule to go support their friends and we feel that this should happen every day, instead of just special instances.

Theater Board
The GFA Theatre Board is dedicated to advancing theatrical involvement and appreciation throughout the school community.
