Horizons at GFA is an academic enrichment program that has helped hundreds of low-income youth from Bridgeport succeed in school with six-week summer sessions and Saturday sessions during the school year. The program strengthens academic performance while building confidence, self-discipline, and community responsibility.

The Horizons
Scholarship Fund brings qualified graduates of the GFA Horizons enrichment
program to attend GFA for Upper School. Even
though community support has brought the fund beyond its initial $1 million endowment
goal, many alumni continue to give to cover the tuition of the three former Horizons students
already enrolled at GFA and to increase the overall number of scholarships that ultimately can be provided.
