Snedaker '85 and Hansson '83 Share Wit and Wisdom with Upper Schoolers
On Tuesday, March 29, Price Snedaker '85 and Othar Hansson '83 returned to campus to speak to the Upper School as part of GFA's annual Career Day assembly.

Price, a dedicated volunteer, social worker (now focusing her efforts on childhood concussions), and single mother of three, emphasized the importance of GFA's close student-faculty relationships. "In real life," she said, "teachers are called experts."

Othar, a software engineer at Google, recalled his days at GFA tinkering with a refrigerator-sized computer with Ed Denes. Referring to the highly collaborative nature of his work at Google, one of Othar's takeaway points was, "learn how to be smart without being annoying."
