Directions: |
Via Merritt Parkway: Take Merritt Parkway South to Exit 35 (High Ridge Road). At bottom of ramp turn right. At light on other side of Parkway bridge, turn left onto Buxton Farm Road (be careful: premature sharp left takes you back onto Parkway). At stop sign, turn right onto Turn-of-River Road. Take first left onto Intervale, up hill to stop sign. Turn left onto Newfield Avenue. ?Via I-95: I-95 South to Stamford. Take Exit 8 (Elm Street). Right at end of ramp, straight through light, then right onto Grove Street. Follow road North for 4 miles (Grove becomes Strawberry Hill, and that becomes Newfield Avenue). Pass Sterling Farms Club on right; school will be on left.
For baseball, cross country, lacrosse, softball, soccer, MS basketball: Take left onto Intervale Road East, then first right into South entrance. ?For US basketball, field hockey, volleyball: continue on Newfield to North entrance on left.
Golf and Tennis
?To Sterling Farms Club: Sterling Farms is on right on Newfield Ave. just before the KLHT campus. Coming from the Merritt via Intervale, go right at light onto Newfield Ave. and immediately left into Club driveway.
Hockey
?To Stamford Twin Rinks: Merritt Parkway South to exit 36 (route 106). Go south on 106 towards Stamford. Go about 1.3 miles, taking a right onto Camp Ave. Rink is ahead on the left. |
The GFA Baseball Team lost to King by a final score of 10-0. Thatcher Gleason and Brian Dexheimer had hits for the Dragons. GFA is back in action tomorrow, in a non-league game against Harvey, at home. The game will start at 12 noon. |

Follow winding road to the end. Turn right onto Dixwell Avenue. At approximately the 8th traffic light turn right onto Skiff Street. Pass through two lights. Entrance to Park is on the right.
Tennis is played at either the courts at Skiff St. or at the Yale Bowl: ?To the Yale tennis courts (next to the Yale Bowl): I-95 North to Exit 43 (Campbell Avenue). Turn left onto Route 122. Follow for approximately 2 miles, crossing over Route 1 and turn right at light onto Derby Turnpike. Courts are approximately 0.5 mile on left.
Golf:
The Yale Golf Course: Merritt Parkway North to Exit 59. End of ramp turn south on Whalley Ave. towards Yale Bowl sign. Bear left at upcoming intersection and continue for 0.75 mile. Take a right just past the CVS Pharmacy onto Dayton Street. At next light turn right onto Fountain St. and take immediate left onto Visa Terrace. (Watch for the blue signs to follow to the golf course.) Bear right onto Marvelwood Dr. After right curve in road, turn left onto Conrad Dr. Follow to end. Look for “Dead End” sign and continue straight through gate. |
GFA lost to Hamden Hall by a final score of 4-0. Thatcher Gleason pitched well in the loss, only giving up 5 total hits. However, the Dragons only managed one hit, by Yang Wan. GFA is back in action for their final regular season game at Hopkins on Friday at 4:30. |

I-95 South to Exit 21 (in New York). Immediately bear right on exit ramp and get off the Midland Avenue Exit. At bottom of ramp turn left on Midland. At first light turn right onto Peck Avenue. Follow Peck to the light at the Post Road and turn right. Go over bridge and follow directions below.

?After crossing the bridge, pass Cedar St on your left and turn into small parking lot on left before reaching the grass divider in the road. Walk around the buildings, leaving them on your right side, to the fields.
Basketball, Squash, Tennis and Wrestling:
?Gymnasium:Go left onto Cedar Street. Take first right into campus. Take third driveway on right and park.

Follow above directions to Rye Country Day. After going over bridge on Post Road, take first left onto Cedar Street. Go through traffic light. The club is straight ahead; when road bears right, you turn left into parking lot. |
GFA ended it's season with an opening round loss in the FAA playoffs to Rye Country Day School. The final was 8-2. GFA took a 1-0 lead on a bases loaded walk from Brian Dexheimer but couldn't maintain the advantage. GFA only managed one hit, by Yang Wan. | |
