Trips Timeline

For your planning purposes, please make note of the following general dates. Please check with Head Chaperones regarding additional, trip-specific due dates.
 
Thursday, September 22
Middle School Parents Visiting Night
 
Tuesday, September 27
Upper School Parents Visiting Night

At the end of each of these evenings Head Chaperones leading trips for Middle and Upper Schoolers will give brief presentations to inform all interested parents about the details of our 2011-2012 trips.

This is an opportunity for parents to meet chaperones, to learn more about individual trips, and to hear about GFA's trips process!

No later than Tuesday, November 1
Students must submit the following, completed forms to Dr. Cummings. All forms are available from the website:

3. A clear photocopy of the student's passport
4. Statement of Understanding (Please note that these documents are trip-specific and are only accessible from the individual trip pages)
5. Non-refundable Deposit (Amounts vary by trip; please check individual trip pages)
6. Additional forms specific to tour companies (if applicable)         
7. Signed Financial Aid agreement (If applicable this form will be mailed to your home)
 
*Please check individual trip pages for items 4-6.
 
Note: Students applying to the MUN Program in Turkey should talk to Mr. Llanque.  Due dates may vary because this trips takes place before the others.

Week of November 14th
Chaperones will inform students of their acceptance/denial to trips.

Over the month of February
Kathleen Raby will work with families directly to get proper medication authorization forms filled in and medications dropped off for spring break trips.

During the months of April & May
Head chaperones will host follow-up, mandatory meetings for summer trips to discuss updated itinerary, packing lists, etc.
