The Green Team is committed to making GFA a more sustainable community, from our hallways, to the classrooms, the kitchen, the grounds, the parking lot, and even in our homes. Our approach is both practical and educational, considering ways to "green" both our physical campus as well as our curriculum. We recognize the ecological sensitivity of our location and the impact local change can have globally, such as through our land and water management, our energy use, and our waste production. We work to ensure that our natural resources are sustained for the future, believing that GFA graduates should be active stewards for the environment and that it is our institutional responsibility to foster this awareness and compassion. Our members include representatives from the faculty, the students, the staff, and the parent body.
