Entering his 15th year at Greens Farms Academy, and with 42 seasons of coaching expertise, Coach Karlan brings to each of his teams, an incredible depth of knowledge. As the coach of middle school soccer, middle school basketball, and varsity lacrosse teams Karlan has developed the unique ability to work with and be successful with all age groups and skill levels. Coach Karlan's athletic experience started when he was a student-athlete at King. Karlan was a 4-year varsity football starter, twice named to the All FAA team, and team captain his senior year. He was a 4-year varsity lacrosse starter, was named to the All FAA team three times, was a captain his junior and senior years, and lead his team to an undefeated season and FAA League Championship. Coach Karlan continued his athlete career at New England College where he was the starting goalie for 3 years, undefeated Commonwealth Champions, and D-II National Semi-Finalists.
