About Llibrary 2.JPG

Selection Policy
Books and other library materials are purchased to support the curriculum and pleasure reading. Purchases are made based on appropriate reviews from Booklist, Horn Book, School Library Journal, and the NY Times Book Review. Faculty, parent, and student requests are also welcome.
In general, donation of material such as used books, textbooks, and videos is discouraged because of space limitations. Approval of donations must be obtained from the librarians. If you have donations,
contact Pequot Library.

Birthday and Honor Books
Donations may be made for library books or other library materials to be purchased in honor or memory of a loved one. Selection of material is made by the librarian with appropriate labeling placed in the material to designate the gift.
